🚪 yesterday's New Moon opened the doorway... will you walk through it?

Hey Reader,

yesterday, the New Moon in Leo opened up a doorway for us to enter into the energy of Lughnasa and honor this season of harvest.

while this isn’t always the case, this year’s Lughnasa Cross-Quarter Day is unique as it began with Lunar Lughnasa {the Moon in Leo} and builds to Solar Lughnasa {happening Wednesday, when the Sun touches 15* Leo}.

the Cross-Quarter Holy Day of Lughnasa is centered around honoring the harvest — both literally {blueberries, cucumbers, and melons, oh my!} as well as metaphorically by looking at all we’ve made manifest in our lives so far in this current journey on the Wheel of the Year.

much of what we create, or are called to create, has its roots in our innate gifts. it’s the inherent Soul impulse that propels us to step into the journey of creation and manifestation when it comes to all we dream of.

with the wisdom of Leo and the New Moon, we are learning from the archetype of Leo that teaches us that we are each born with our own unique brilliant signature, our way of lighting up the stage of life.

the Leo New Moon, Lunar Lughnasa, is a reminder that authentic self-expression is all about stepping into your OWN spotlight. there is no stealing someone else’s light because it’s about YOU allowing yourself to receive that spotlight that’s unique to you

this space between Lunar & Solar Lughnasa {on Wednesday} is a perfect opportunity to deepen your relationship with Mother Earth {and therefore your body!} by honoring this Cross-Quarter Holy Day.

🌱 a story about Imbolc and the impulse to GObefore the body has said YES 🌱 Hey Reader, Beaming into your inbox on this Cross-Quarter Day of Solar Imbolc from a sweet little town in the highlands of Mexico called San Miguel de Allende. More to come on how I wound up here and the magic unfolding from this leap of faith, but... Got a little story-medicine for ya and a longer-form love letter about the wisdom of Imbolc... I hope it's nourishing 🫶 First though… let’s clear up True Imbolc vs...

oh hey there, Reader maybe you can relate, or maybe you're much more on top of things than I am, but I am a wait-until-the-last-freaking-minute girl. I’ve known I needed to cut the garden beds back for weeks. 🤦♀️ I finally got around to it last weekend—even though in most years I would’ve been shivering while wielding the rusty clippers in freezing temps & snow flurries. And honestly, I kind of hate this part of the gardening process 🙈 the phase when all the pretty-things have died back, and...

Hey Reader, It probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the topic of “reproductive rights” is something I feel pretty passionate about. There’s also no question that there’s been an upsurge of conversation around this topic recently, and unfortunately, a LOT of it is coming from a deeply fear-based place. What you might be surprised to hear is that I take a bit of a different stance on “reproductive rights" than I used to even a few years ago… Eventually, I’ll share more about what I...
